Php and asp.net on the same site

What are potential problems of having this?
For example site is mostly in asp.net and now I want to implement cms solution to manage articles to be *.php files?

Do you think it may be problematic for some reasons and why ??

the main problem i'd think you will have is sessions. i don't think you'd be able to pass session data between the 2 frameworks. but i don't know for sure. i do know that you can run them side by side.
