How much sleep do you get on an average night?

I'd say I get about 7 hours.

7-8 on average... but sometimes 5-6.

Lately, more like 9-12. I love it.

Generally about 4-6.

I used to get 9-10, but recently I've had real problems getting to sleep. I'd go to bed at 11-11.30, but can't sleep until way after 1. When I have to get up at 7, it's not too good :(

I average 7.5 to 8.5 hours. Find I struggle to get up most mornings though. If my 9-5 didn't get in the way I'd try polyphasic sleeping.

6 or 7. Sometimes less. It really depends on how well the baby sleeps.

7-9 Depending if I'm working or tired... I wake-up same time every morning pretty much.

9 hours of being in the bed probably, 8 hours of real good sleep though. It usually takes me awhile to fall asleep and I wake up a little bit and try to fight it before getting up.

With all the new research coming out recently about how getting a full night's sleep is so good for you its nice to be able to set your own hours and work from home.

I have the college student's sleep schedule. Usually 5-6 hours a night and, after 2 years, it's starting to take it's toll. I can't remember things as good as I could two years ago. I also fall asleap in class all the time. It's just hard to find the time to sleep more.

About 6 during the week, then 9 at the weekend! I should try to even it out. Maybe I should step up the pace so I can quit work sooner.

I try for 7. Last night about 3 - little baby decided he didn't need to sleep and so neither did anyone else

No less than 6. No more that 10. Deep sleep - probably about 7 - 8 hours worth.

At night - Zero
During the day - Anywhere between 4 and 10. Depends on how loud it is at my house that day.

haha, good one, at night zero for me too.

Otherwise, usually 7-8 hours. I have what could be called a schedule-in-motion. Every "day" I think I wake up 15-20 minutes later than the day before, every "night" I go to bed about 45 minutes later. If I get up 3 or 4 hours earlier, I still go to bed later than the night before. It sucks, but I'd rather have a messed up schedule and be wide awake than a good schedule and be tired all the time. So in other words, today is Wednesday/Thursday for me ;)

Doesn't that mean your sleep time is dropping 25-30 mins every night??

no, it means my sleep schedule moves forward, I mean later pertaining to the time I go to bed, not in relationship to when I wake up.

Andrew, why? Various studies show that having a regular schedule (ie going to bed at the same time each night) lead to a better and easier sleep. I would get really messed up working with your schedule

Sleep schedule, hah! I haven't known what one of those is in the 2+ years since I got into affiliate marketing. I nap often, never sleep. Usually up for 15-20+ hours, nap for 3, maybe 4, then back up again.
