Do you entertain offers from private advertisers?

I just spoke with a rep. from a fairly large company that is interested in advertising on one of my websites.

They had no structure to their offer - it's completely ambiguous, for the most part. They claim they're 'testing'.

Basically, they want a dedicated page on my website, with a payment of 1c a click.

Without really needing to know which site, my advice would be "no way".

Too bad it's not. I spoke with this guy for an hour or so before I finally told me he's only offering 1c a click? Waste of time.

You would think a multi-million dollar company could come up with a better offer...

I get offers all the time. Here's the response I send them:


Two questions--are you offering CPM or CPA ads?

If you're offering CPM, can you give me an idea of how much I could expect to earn?

I get these emails almost daily, so if you could answer this, I'd appreciate it.
