I've noticed alot of burst survey ads on burst sites recently and I was thinking that that is not good for the publishers sites because they won't be paid for these ads...

Once a publisher has 200+ completed surveys, Burst can then start selling targetted advertising on your site. As a publisher, you also have access to the results of the survey which is really usefull.

So it will pay off.

Well lissaexplains.com still has loads on it, and it has been using burst for ages, and it is a very famous popular site...

So if you join Burst! you first have to put surveys on your site, then when they have been completed 200+ times you can start making money?

I've actually filled in some of those burst surveys on sites because the ads were displayed so much...

No, you can still make money via normal banners / popups etc etc before you get 200. But you'll only start getting ads targetted to your site and it's demographic once Burst have enough info about who your users are and what they're looking for.

But are burst!s rates good before they have done that or are they like fastclicks?

Depends what kind of ads you're prepared to run. They're generally similar to fastclick's. Though, the targetted ads will obviously bring in much greater money. That's where Burst are ahead.

I think being able to find out what your users are really thinks pays for itself.

That's why I added a forum...

You're still not going to get the raw statistics from a forum though, to the extent you will with the survey.

Also not all of your users will go to your forum. You get around 500 uniques a day? Yet you've only got 12 registered users.

Yes...

I think burst is the best option for ads, I will probably put ads on in mid February when I change games2go to hostony.
