We all know about the danger of hidden text and how if one of your competitors finds it they will submit a naughty webmaster report to google.

Now how about if you hide a link in the text by using the same color as the text and no decoration or hover?

Has anyone ever heard that google would register that the link is not viewable by the user as a link apart from the mouse over?

It is getting harder and harder being number 1 with more than 10 webmasters just copying what I am doing, so I have to think of more and more clever tricks to stay on top ;)

Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't worry to much about being reported to google because 1 you're not doing anything wrong and 2) they don't seem to take any actions against reported sites or at least not enough.

That is why I use it. It makes my articles look like they were produced using one of the templates on word.
