Anyone had any experience with submission to Google News?

I tried twice (2 different sites), and was rejected twice, but see some appalling sites listed and assume it must be a fairly healthy source of additional traffic.

Not a submission, but I paid for a press release through PRWeb. It was submitted to Google News and a spokesperson from St*rbucks contacted me in reference to something that was in the press release.

Definitely worth the $40.

Did you write it yourself or did the $40 include someone writing it?

$40 was the PRWeb fee.

I get my news site featured often on google news, but when it does I can say its lucky to get 100 uniques from it. I think it depends on what section of the news your in.
