Optimizing YPN

I've done optimization testing for YPN, including using their optimization channels, about as far as I'm willing to go. I'm to the point I'm just spinning my wheels now and I've decided that:

Optimizing YPN = Oxymoron

I really want YPN to work because the per click earnings are so much higher than Adsense in many categories but I just can't seem to get the CTR where it needs to be to make it worthwhile.

I realize they are still in beta but the technology just seems to be so far off from Adsense it's almost ridiculous.

Has anyone been able to get click through rates with YPN that are equivalent to Adsense on a long(ish) term basis?

Nope. YPN isn't really very "contextual" at all, it seems. The ads hardly ever target properly no matter what you do. I don't know if this is due to low ad volume or just bad technology on the backend. Either way, I share in your frustration.
