A question on submitting articles

Say that I write an article, do I submit it to every article directory I can find, or do I just submit it to a few of them?

if your article is keyword rich then first publish it on your site, it will help you for SERP,
then for promoting and link building you should submit to as many as articles and blog with your signature having sitename.
