blogs indexed by google??

I have read a couple articles that suggest google indexes their own blogs - blogger and blogspot quite rapidly. I set up a wedding blog at the beginning of november and have written many articles on the blog. But it still is not indexed. I checked this morning and I see other blogs that were started a long time ago - for instance back in 2005 and they were not indexed either.

Do the search engines not index these??

They do, but you'll want to get incoming links to make sure of it.

Is your blog new ? if yes, it will take time to get index, all what you will have to do is getting backlinks from other relevant blogs and sites as you do for your site.

Google treats blog as separate site so you have to do all SEO for blog also.

Have unique content, add fresh content to it with all your keywords, please don’t spam it.
Post comments at different wellknown blogs with your blog signature.
All this will help you definetly…keep patience.
