Does it work to write an article about your site in wikipedia and link to yourself or would they not allow that? just wondering as it would prlly give good PR.

they wont allow it plus you will get flamed for good measure by the wiki fans.

Unless you are a VERY large company it will be removed quickly.

I dunno, it doesn't seem that difficult. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I go to wiki and hit the "Random Article" link. One time it came up with an article about some website along the lines of "the greatest web site in the world". It was a complete hagiography of this guy's site and seemed to have been updated frequently because he had some feud with some other web site.

So just start some ridiculous controversy and then submit you site to wikipedia.
