People Cloning you

Any one ever have problems with people cloning your site by going to the same designer that made your site or another one, i find it quite dam annoying

Not the same designer, but yes, people have copied my sites, many times. It sucks.

I've had data copied and articles copied, but never the design of my sites. Then again really the only truly unique thing about the design of my chemistry site is its colors. I mean a three column layouut is as common as you can get.

In the early days when I used more graphical elements (like arrows and the horizontal bars that were so popular in the mid 90s) they got stolen frequently.

Since I am my own web developer it isn't too likely that my web developer will rehash the exact same design for someone else.

I think people are seeing it more because there has been a proliferation of CSS designs of late - easy (easier) to copy.
