Hi,

Im listed in the first 10 for certain keywords in Yahoo, but i get absolutely no traffic from them. I get most of my traffic from Google and MSN...but nothing from Yahoo.

Is this just because nobody is searching Yahoo for those keywords or i am doing something wrong?

Site: www.famousdeaddb.com
Keyword example: famous dead people
Yahoo # for that keyword: 5

Thanks!

Yup, probably.

I got the #1 position on yahoo (last I checked) for televisions but the traffic volume is pretty poor. Yahoo just isn't as popular, plus they have all those other links before the search results to pull traffic away.

Thanks Chris. At least i know that it's not because of something im not doing or doing wrong.

It's funny...but a few days after i post this thread, i started to get traffic from Yahoo. Although it's pretty much nothing compared to the traffic i get from other SE, at least is good to see Yahoo appearing in the stats :)

I get more traffic from MSN than yahoo.

Yahoo has killed natural results with all their crap all over.

I get a lot more from MSN than Yahoo now too. The Yahoo directory still brings in traffic though.

You really got to find the right keywords and search engines for example people search for apples on google bu plums on MSN and oranges on yahoo

Yahoo does very well for me, better than MSN if I'm ranked in the same location.
If I'm #1 on each of the main search engines, order is Google -> Yahoo -> MSN.

For a variety of terms, Yahoo is roughly 2 - 3x MSN.
