My first impression is what does the word "username" have to do with the webmaster market?

i was thinking along the lines that you sell your online identity...therefore username, i guess not so much webmasters than forum posters?

I don't think it sounds very good. I understand a more ideal, catchy name like "IdentityMarket.com" was taken... but perhaps you should look around for a different name.com.

Just my thought.

Yes there is definite a market for that sort of thing. People have sold their slashdot ids for a few years and with the increase in social sites (myspace, digg) it is only going to be come more rampant.

Can't access the site but it's certainly a good idea, a friend of mine owns the email address hosting@live.co.uk which he was trying to sell, a site dedicated to this sort of thing has a market...

I sold a 6 digit ICQ number that had 2 sets of 3 consecutive numbers.
Like. 123123 (but it wasnt 123123). It sold for $xxxx.
