Hey, can a site like

www.armaniexchange.com be made to be search engine friendly. As im gonna be making a site soon and i really like everything about that site, but SEO is going to be a huge factor in my next business.

Very search engine unfriendly; could be be done through cloaking but you run the risk of being banned.

izwar, you can have a graphical site, but you must add some text into the mix. So if you want to have fancy graphics and flash like that then it's not a problem. Just make sure you have other search engine friendly stuff on the page too. For example, make sure you have a text menu, HTML page title, HTML heading etc.

gotcha chromate, i wont be having so much flash like that but i will try and make all the links text, and throw in some text descriptions of my site filled with keywords and what not. Will throwing a string of related keywords at the bottom of page in text do anything beneficial aside from html title and heading tags.

Don't just simply put a list of keywords at the bottom of the page. It looks unprofessional and spammy. Incorporate the keywords into some text content.
