Hi to all, I recently completed this project during my leisure time. Now, I want to see what do I need to correct to attractive people coming to my website.

It looks good, but it needs some SEO work and the right click pop up doesn't make any sense. I would rather right click and do set as wallpaper than download a jpeg or zip (which the buttons don't work)

Looks pretty good to me, although I do agree the blue color could be changed, but overall not bad.

How do you know from just looking at a site that it needs SEO work? What things are you looking for? Keywords on each pages, etc..? Just curious for my own sites purposes.

Which portion of the forum will tell about the basic of SEO?

I want to check it out.

SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization". You should see it on the forum listed as that.

http://www.wallpaperam.com/categories.php?cat_id=1

Not recommended, http://www.wallpaperam.com/anime is much better. You should be able to rewrite this in your .htaccess file.

The headline on the page just says "Anime" it needs to say "Anime Wallpaper"

Another thing I do is turn off the CSS stylesheet with Firefox and see how the page looks. This is how Google and the SEbots see it.

Read the articles here:http://www.websitepublisher.net/website_promotion/search_engine_optimization/ and you will learn a lot more

Thanks for the help, that make my understanding for SEO much clearer. It is better to have http://www.wallpaperam.com/anime instead of
http://www.wallpaperam.com/categories.php?cat_id=1.

Is it very important to turn off the CSS stylesheet? It seems like there's going to be a lot of work to correct. What can affect Google and SEbots if I have the CSS on?

Have a look at your site - you get an error message saying:

The things I don't like:

1. The thumbnails are too small to get a good sense of the pictures while browsing.
2. Each picture is only available in one size, so it can't look good on all screens.

I've got a desktop backgrounds (http://www.troutnut.com/desktop-backgrounds) section on my site which shows my opinion of how I think this sort of thing should be done. It took a lot of custom PHP/ImageMagick programming, though.
