Hi all,

With the recent PR update one of my sites seems to have gone downhill a bit. The homepage has the same PR, but all the rest of the pages don't have any. Before today, every page had some PR (some even more than the homepage), so I don't have a clue what's happened.

Anyone know a cause?

Cheers,
Mike

I've seen no PR updates at all :(

I'm seeing PR updates to any of my pages published before the middle of June. Thus far newer pages have seen a PR increase and older pages which tend to have a more stable PR are not seeing any changes. It looks like once again PR7 has eluded my primary pages.

Maybe you should join that KinderStart lawsuit against Google for PR defamation (http://news.com.com/Judge+dismisses+suit+over+Google+ranking/2100-1030_3-6094132.html?tag=nefd.top ). :p

Yeah alot of my 5's have dropped to 4's and the sites I have been doing the most link building on still have 0.

I'm pretty much done with PR, I dont worry about it much anymore except of sites where I am selling links because many other webmasters still base the amount of money they will pay for a link on PR

This seems to be another goofy PR update. My pages that had PR before stayed the same but backlinks increased. My new sites got PR5's and I ended up with a PR6 myspace profile.

Maybe all of the sub-domain spamming that cropped up in the past couple of months has had something to do with this goofy PR update.

I hope whatever the reason is for this... it stops soon.

I am seeing quite a few changes, but all my sites are pretty new, so no 7's yet :p

Nothing major for me... pages in URL for my lit site passed 1 million. Still a 7 though, but with all main menu links on the page also a 7 I keep hoping the homepage will get to 8. New sites got PR too.

Although the pages on my environmental chemistry site, which is my primary site, maintained or increased their PR (only new pages increased), I have noticed some pages on my minor/newer sites dropped in PR. In some cases going from a PR5 to a PR3. It seems that there was a serious realignment of the weighting of PRs making each PR value much harder to achieve then in the past. It looks like now achieving a PR5 or PR6 will really be an accomplishment. As far as Chris still having a PR7 well all I can say is: :p
