Hello

A "turnkey" site is a website that was built and has no real content, nor has it been online long.

Someone just threw together a site with a good or bad idea and sold it before they got any real traffic.

Often they're mass produced as well, the same idea, different domain. Resold over and over again.

Where's the innovative thinking in that?

Basically, it's a site in a box. A turnkey site is a pre-made, ready-to-go site that you can buy, and then (in theory) all you need to do is "turn the key" to get running.

Many reseller programs are also called 'turnkey' because they offer a pre-packaged business with little startup effort.
