Add Advertisement to .SWF?

Hi,

Is it possible to generate money when people play a .SWF file hosted on your server? For example, if you have a flash animation that has been featured everywhere and all the sites are hotlinking it, can you attach an ad? (that isn't quite my case but it's close enough).

Sure, if you can find something worth advertising on it, or an advertise who'd sponsor it :) Just put it in one of the animation frames.

Well, I was hoping to find some sort of affiliate network to join.

You could include a link to a CPA affiliate program.

If you're looking for a CPM type of ad, I doubt you'll find one since most ad networks have pretty strict rules.

But if the flash is displayed in the right places places, you could put in an ad for an affiliate program that pays you for leads or sales. (They pay only for performance, so they don't tend to care how you advertise them.)
