Huge CTR

I launched a new site a few weeks ago and it is getting a ctr of almost 14%. Thats the highest ctr I've ever had on any site :banana: :banana: :banana:

congrats... I thought you were going to say something like 586%... which is my highest... of course I am sure it was fraudulent and I sent an email to Google saying as much.

14% is really good though. Is that the average for all the units on the page, or just the best performing unit?

I wouldn't call them tricks, the ads are just integrated very well.

No, and if google looked at my site they would see why the ctr is so high, very good ad placement in a very good niche.

I'm pretty sure I've read about people having legit ctr's of over 25% so 14% probably isn't a very big deal.

Instead of designing my ads based on my site design which is what most people do I designed my site around the ads.

My affiliate shopping sites have 72-74% CTR. That is, where the customer clicks on the link that directs them to the actual dealer's site from my site.

For adsense it varies on the site. Typical large rich content sites with many pages are 4-6%.

My smaller extreme niche sites usually start at 10% CTR.

I think i said "site" too many times in this post.
