Mike said Chris had an ace new car, but before I had time to ask him about it, he logged off...

So... Can we have a pic of it...

I didn't say it was new, just said he had a really nice car that he posted about on sitepoint (quite a few of them on sitepoint have actually;)).

I'll leave Chris to posting the url if he wants.

How did you find this site?

Let me guess you saw Chris' mythology site, found it was Jalic LLC, searched google for it, found the website, followed the link to here, and joined...

Who, me?

Actually, no. I post fairly frequently on SitePoint, where I found out about this from Chris, and I've been here many times. This is just the first time I've posted.

Should we talk about the weather?

Should we talk about the government? Oh, wait, we better not, Chris has no-politics rules...

Yup.

I'm 22. I don't like sharing my age because people might not take me seriously. 22 means some college kid who parties right?

I'm married, I'm buying a house next week, I've had my own business for 3 years, and I now make more than my Dad (who is a doctor). I'm definitely not the typical 22 year old.

Mike

Now that's impressive:)

Making more than a doctor, OMG!

What made you start on websites? And how did you find out about how google works etc?

Mike

What was your first website?

Chris
11-25-2003, 08:20 PM
My first website was back in 1993. I was 13 or 14 and I would go online and download dirty pictures and chat. I made a website, just a stupid personal website, with some writings and some dirty pictures.

Then I made a poetry site for poetry I had written in junior high/early highschool.

Then my senior year of highschool I had an idea for a shakespeare site. Which I started working on my first year in college. I got a job working in a genetics engineering lab (my major at the time) because they needed a website. So half the time I'd do genetics stuff, half the time I'd do website stuff. I decided I liked the website stuff better so I quit (after the site was done -- it was also my first db driven site, it had a large genomic database backend and used ASP) and changed my major. I then started to do some freelance work. I made some money but only enough to cover extra expenses. By then my literature site was made and I worked on making more. The survival site was next..

Now I have a bunch of websites and they generate a bunch of money.
