Anyone else get one of these?

Hello,

We wish to inform you that the exchange rate used for your
April payment was incorrect. We're working hard to
investigate this error and will update you once we have
additional details on how we intend to resolve the issue.

If you normally receive communication for us in a
language other than English, we will provide additional
information in your preferred language next week.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your
patience.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Looks like the applied the exchange rate in reverse, so I ended up with a lot less money than I expected.

Speaking of exchange rates, this is what my next blog post is about.

I always get really good exchange rates from google, always higher than the banks

It looks like it was the same for every Canadian cameron, and a few other countries were short-changed through their conversions too. Not only was it displayed wrong on their site, I can confirm that they really did deposit the wrong amount of money. It looks like they reversed the currency exchange ratios. I feel bad for the person who made that typo!
There is an ongoing thread about it over at WMW: http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum89/13731.htm

Hello,

We now have an update regarding your April payment. The remaining
amount owed will be processed today and should be credited to your
bank account in the next few days.

Within your AdSense account, your Payment History page will show:

1) A 'Payment...' line with the original payment amount, calculated with
the incorrect exchange rate.
2) A 'Payment canceled' line with the amount of the incorrect payment.
This doesn't mean we've removed your earnings from your bank
account; it's only displayed to balance the amounts within your AdSense
account.
3) Two separate 'Payment...' lines, each with the corrected exchange rate
and USD amounts. These lines reflect the correct amount of your
payment.

By the end of the week, your Payment History page will appear
something like the following:

Mar 31, 2006 Earnings... $700.00
Apr 26, 2006 Payment... ($700.00)
Apr 26, 2006 Payment Canceled $700.00
Apr 26, 2006 Payment... ($400.00)
May 1, 2006 Payment... ($300.00)

Once again, we appreciate your patience as we worked to fix the error.
If you normally receive communication from us in a language other than
English, we will send this email in your preferred language tomorrow.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Luckily I still had enough for rent even with the error. This payment delay was probably very troublesome for a lot of people.
