Hi everyone,

I've been reading this forum for a while now, very informative, but this is my first post. So hello & greetings etc.

I have a UK focused website which receives around 3million pageviews/month and about 1/4 million unique visitors/month. I am currently reviewing my ad networks I have predominantly google adsense with a splash of another ad network which I get 60p CPM from. This seems way to low.

What sort of CPM (or CPC) rates are other people getting, (UK focused ideally)?

I also sell some banners on the site myself directly and am never sure what to charge. I have looked around at some other sites rates and these vary wildly, for example AOL's rate card have a CPM of £7.5 (ROS) , but £25 to £60 CPM for focused categories.

I'd be very interested in hearing from other site owners about CPM/CPC rates, what people are getting etc? Is AOL's £25/60 CPM ludicrously off track or is that feasible?

Thanks in advance

Depends an awful lot on what subject you are covering - what is your site about?

Sites on finance etc will have a much higher CPM than one on free smilies for example.

It's a home related site, info/forums etc.

I would have thought you should get at least 'a few pounds PM', maybe upto £20 eCPM - though forums are traditionally lower CPM, since people become blind to the ads. Whats the forum part of those 3million pageviews?

If you link to your site, we can make some suggestions about how you can improve your ad performance.
