Valueclick Media, Casale and Tribal Fusion require their ads to be above the fold.

Burst has a separate ad code for above the scroll and below the scroll ads.

Great, I didn't know that Burst had something like that. I think you need something like 100,000 pageviews a month though and when I joined I got declined for this because I applied with a site that is rather new. I didn't bother applying with my site that has lots of visitors because my intention was not to put the ads on this site.

Companies track the ads on your site so that they can see how many impressions and uniques your ads get.
