Well that was cool. I could think of may jobs worse than playing with snakes all day. In fact, I think there is a Discovery Channel TV program dedicated to this fact called "Dirty Jobs". ;)

The cages are all custom built so it depends on what the customer wants.
Standard they are heated with heat tape under one end of the cage to provide belly heat, but cages can be equipped with fluorescent and/or incandescent fixtures for additional lighting and heat.

Arghh... snakes. I agree with the article... I can't stand even being in the same room as one, never mind being with them all day :p

Then again, I suppose it's just like another pet. Some people love dogs, some people hate dogs. I suppose the same applies with snakes :)

Where I grew up we used to find snakes in out shed/house/yard :)
