Hi all,

I would like to generate some revenue through coding projects in one of those sites like rentacoder.com but worried that i am not good enough for the tasks..

My current (one-year) experience only includes:

PHP /Mysql / JavaScript / HTML / CSS (basic scripting)

The only website coded by me (an online game):
http://www.absolutethree.com/

In your opinion, do you think people will hire me

I appreciate any comments / advise.

I don't know why but i feel comfortable asking here instead of other places :)

Your URL is misspelled.

I don't think you'd have a problem getting hired as long as you can explain the things you did on the site and why you did them :)

First you are missing a 't' in the URL in your message.

I don't know if people would hire you or not, but one way to increase your odds of getting hired is to make sure that your HTML & CSS validates to W3C specifications and post the valid HTML icons on your pages.

thanks for the advise (corrected the url)
Does anyone has any experience with the following freelance website?

rentacoder.com
getacoder.com
getafreelancer.com

Or any other recommendations :)

Actally I tried all of them a way back when I was slow, also guru.com and to be honest there were so many people giving away their work I got disgusted and left - never went back.

Those sites can be tough to compete on unless you are willing to to work cheap (and I'm not)
