Hi,

I've nearly been using adwords for a week now, and haven't had any sucess whatsoever. I haven't made one sale since using it, even though I have been around second position for "web templates" with a possible ten clicks a day. So I'm not really sure if i'm doing this right.

Could someone give me some advice? I have $5.00 to spend a day...not much, but at the moment, it's all I can afford.

Thanks a lot,
Mike

I searched google several times and could not find your ad word.

There's no point adding more keywords if they are too competitive and pricey though is there. Web templates is not that expensive really.

When you set a budget it doesn't appear all of the time.

This is in the wrong forum... It should be in promotion...

Dunno actually, seeing it is about an advertising network.

Anyway, move it if you feel it's necessary Chris.

I'm sure he will. BTW: How much, minus the inclusion fee, have you spent on adwords?

Not much.

Find niche keywords....

Like

"buy templates" or something...

Think I'm gonna try that, as i've spent just over $50 and only made one sale.

The sales are actually coming up a bit now. In the last two days I have got two sales.

It took me awhile to get effective results with adsense.

so would you just keep using it and see if things improve?

You must have got alot of click to have spent $50...

About 500...

I wish...just over a fifth of that.

I've set the whole thing up wrong really, I put a big CPC so I have only been getting 10 clicks a day or something. Oh well, I'll learn from my mistakes:)

Actually my ineffective campaigns kept getting cancelled by Google.

My 4th campaign I tried is the one that finally worked.

Mine are getting the clicks, just not getting the sales.
