I applied for YPN 4 days ago. Not sure what the average response time was. I did not even get a confirmation email. Any ideas from people who have been accepted?

Yeah, if you're a US resident. But they only accept US traffic as well. So if you send them non-US traffic expect to have your account audited. Probably best off to wait until they're out of beta.

Actually - it's against their TOS to send non-US traffic and you will not only be audited, you can be (and several people have been) banned for it.

I have also read about that people have been banned from YPN for receiving to much international traffic to their program.

So either don't send them to much or get some sort of geo-targetting script so that you don't get banned by them.

Most affiliate programs would have a geo-targetting bit of software in place, but Yahoo seems to want to do things alot differently.

Definitely implement some kind of geotargetting to only show YPN ads to US users if you want to keep your account. Don't trust anything the telephone customer service reps tell you.

Argh. I was going to switch 2 of my sites from Adsense to YPN (I got accepted a few weeks ago) but the non-US thing is pretty much a killer for one of them. I'll be waiting until the beta's over.
