My toolbar finally updated, and in a little more than a month, I have a PR of 5. I know PR, trustrank, and traffic are all completely different things, but it still feels pretty darn good. I have the same PR as the leading site in my category.
Recently, I've also been asked to write articles by four of the top five magazines in my field. Combined readership has to be well over 3 million. All four will give me a prominent byline on their web sites and in the magazines themselves. Should also get some links from syndicators. I'm expecting some decent traffic and a nice boost to my search engine rankings.
Anyway, for my first real web site, I'm thrilled with the results. Every tip you guys have given me has paid off. Big-time.
