This is the first time I've gotten in trouble with Adsense... but they didn't ban me.
Hello,
While reviewing your account, we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies. For instance, we found violations of AdSense policies on pages such as http://www.thediscountsexstore.com/
As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on pages with adult or mature content.
As a result, we have disabled ad serving to the site.
Your AdSense account remains active. However, we strongly suggest that you take the time to review our program policies (https://www.google.com/adsense/policies ) to ensure that all of your remaining pages are in compliance.
Please note that we may disable your account if further violations are found in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team

I think having a solid history with them must help. Also, they may not have been so lenient if fraudulent clicks were involved.
Glad you didn't get banned! Phew :)

Well when you consider that site probably did about 100 out of the 200k daily impressions I send them it'd be silly to ban me... but ya... I'm glad I wasn't either.

I thought that you'd say "They don't just ban you, they kill your dog" with a sob story about how Google killed your dog, but this is good too.
GJ not getting banned.
I thought that you'd say "They don't just ban you, they kill your dog"
That is definately where I thought this was going too.

What, that Google kills your dog?
Yea, or spray paint your car neon green or something. I don't have any real beef with google, I just thought that's where the sentence was going.

I think Adsense is more concerned about affiliates that are involved in click fraud than affiliates that may accidently misplace their ads.
I had them email me once saying that I have similar ads on my site to theirs. I didn't have now competing ads on my site, I just produce my own ads that looked similar to theirs so that my site didn't look odd.
I had then changed that all now and everything is fine.

I just got pretty much the same email today from adsense, and they didn't ban me! And I only have a 6 month history with them and I'm certainly not bringing in thousands of cicks :)
They wern't happy with some penis enlargement stuff I had on a health site.
removed the ads from the pages involved, problem solved.
Maybe they're having a crack down at the moment?
Also, I was checking my house buying site recently, and noticed an ad on adsense that looked interesting, so clicked it without thinking.... Then thought 'AAAAHHHHH no, thats it, I'm out of Adsense. I'll be like all the other people whining about being kicked out...'. But this was a couple of weeks ago at least, and I havent heard anything...

I think they're more worried about the people getting 4000 clicks from the same IP address every day. They probably only deal with it if it happens on a regular basis.
I also had Google ask me to change ads I sell directly because they were too much like AdSense ads. I now have to place a small icon beside each text ad I sell directly. It actually looks pretty cool. They were very nice about the whole thing.
