So what do you guys think is better.

Option #1:
Article burried 2 levels deep.

www.domain.com/category-title-#/article/article-title.html

Option #2:
Article on top level but no keywords or desc.

www.domain.com/#.php

(# is article id#).

What do you think is easier to rank with/for. An article that has some keywords in the title but is burried deeper in the site, or an article on the top level.

From my expierence the deeper it gets the harder it is to get in serps as it's seen less valuable. (Unless a bunch of ppl link to that direct page)

Wudya think!

Honestly, aslong as the search engines can spider it, I don't think it matters anymore (if it ever did).

Go for the shortest URL possible, I'd say.

I always go straight off the domain name. But for a bigger site I'm creating with loads of different sections and areas Im going to to have /area/article.html

I've not seen many sites ranking with Option #2, and would personally find it way worse when navigation through my address bar autocomplete dropdown.
