gotta love fads. to bad i didnt start this one. 1 guy making a ****load of money and many people copying him.

Soon enough, I'm guessing that some places'll start selling 468x60 ads etc. (standard ad units) by the px.

I think there is one company that is already doing that. I don't see it as viable beyond a novalty. That being said.. the idea of buying permanant advertising on a site is an interesting idea. However, with the way money and the economy works, it makes more sense to buy advertising one piece at a time (as in days or months.)
