Hi,
I read that using hyphens helps a little bit, but does it worth it one year from now?
Thanks,
John

Depending on how you want to target your site they can be a great benefit.

I think domain names are only important from a branding point of view. When I choose a domain, I go for a memorable, easy to spell .com as opposed to a really-long-and-hard-to-spell.com. You can get good search engine rankings without the keyword being in your domain.
I will always pick an original, easy to remember/spell name over a keyword-keyword-keyword domain.
I mean, how reputable of an image can you project for your business with an all keyword domain name? I won't link to domains like that.
To me an obviously keyword stuffing domain tells me the owner is just out to make a quick buck.
There are exceptions where keyword names work well, but for the most part they annoy me. :p
