Okay, these two are slightly but not much variation of the logos I posted about a month ago.

Any thoughts, likes, dislikes, suggestions are very appreciated. Ohh..and which one do you like better if any?

I definitely like #2 better. I'd suggest that the bottom left looks a bit odd with that nub protruding down, though.

Thanks guys. #2 was my pick as well. I guess I just needed some reasurrance.

Are you refering to the bottom left of the state of Kentucky? If so, that's just how the state is, :)

Thanks again!

#2, it feels more fluid.

Well, no one likes South Fulton and Hazel anyways, so just cut that little nubbin off ;)

I disagree.

#1 is more fluid...
#2 is more solid...

:p

#1 feels like it's all displaced and the layout around it would be very segmented looking regardless of how it was created, or it'd seem to have a weird gap in it.
Were I a sensitive artiste like the kids at UCFV's art section (they do brilliant and original things like making paper mache hands from molds of their own that stick out of the walls) I'd probably suggest that this creates a deep tear down the centre of the piece, and causes a menacing gap which rips down right into your soul...
