Just what it says...

https://www.google.com/adsense/referrals

$100 per referral (that earns atleast $100). Could be some good money there.

One downside, all referral links are graphics generated by Javascript. No plain old text links.

Yeah, I just noticed this when logging into AdSense a minute ago.
Also, they say that for reffering someone to use Firefox with the Google Toolbar installed, you get up to a dollar; however, I don't see that anywhere under the referrals tab.

While I don't expect to get anything for it, I've put a 120x240 referral ad up on Too Lazy To Blog (http://toolazytoblog.com).

Can't imagine there are any seasoned web publishers who don't have an Adsense account. Newbs would be where to try.

You might say that also with Fastclick, especially considering fastclick has been around longer, but I refer quite a few people there.

Hmm. I haven't had much luck at getting referrals. The few I have gotten for various programs have been next to worthless.

I think the big story here is their promotion of Firefox, paying $1 per install (with the Google Toolbar). If they can successfully propel Firefox to having a marketshare close to IE, then things are going to get VERY interesting. :)

Chris - what's your secret to getting (good) referrals? Are they mostly people finding your reviews on this site via search engines?

they dont have it for firefox, it say's they do for firefox and toolbar but the codes aren't avaliable yet. And this isn't a good thing because no more popups!

Definately. This is a very surprising, yet very good move by google! It's also good news for the web development community in general

The easy money for any Adsense referral program would be in the past now. What they are trying to do now is to continue growing their user base. This gives an incentive for webpublishers to make sure each and everyone other webmaster they know will sign up for Adsense. Of course, whenever anyone asks here, or on any other webmaster board, about making money from their website everyone always says Adsense right away.

In addition to sign-ups, you also have to take into account that only a small percentage will probably ever reach $100. I think this would be a good program for Chris, or someone else with significant webmaster traffic, but probably not much of a money maker for many other people.

Can people in China sign up for (and use) Adsense? That could be a huge market.

IMO, adsense is performing well in Chinese.
I think you should not make a Chinese site, if you want to use for adsense. I think there are not much Chinese Ads to show. Though, the price is very low, it is hard for you to reach high traffic.
