View Full Version : Google Screws up -- some people won't be seeing their Adsense checks, including me

Google screwed up my recent Adsense check. They put the payee information as an LLC I’m a co-owner of — which is used for our Adword’s account.

I can’t use it because none of thse websites are owned by the LLC. I sent Google an e-mail, they said oops, sorry, we cancelled the check and will pay you on the next payment cycle.

It turns out I wasn’t an isolated incident.

Today Jensense reported that Google screwed up bigtime:

I'll be alright, but I know this could be a big problem to some Adsense publishers.

I guess we have another thing to add to the hazard list, including getting banned.

Could you use the bank transfer method? I've been using it for about 8 months now.

Yeah, I actually switched over to EFT a day before the check arrived -- so its no use now.

Do'h! At least its getting sorted though, and its not going to cause you any problems.

In other news, EFT is out of beta. Maybe this is Google's way of saying "Hey, sign up for EFT"

Or, hey, we made a mistake and your getting paid net/90, think about joining the Yahoo Publisher Network.

Haha, Cutter.

This is a very strange event, and I'm sure that some people got in VERY hot water with the bosses - maybe even got fired.

I like checks too, but EFT will save me nearly an hour, not to mention getting the money earlier.

EFT is available to more than just the US now, it seems. Good stuff, I'll be signing up soon.
