I'm trying to get unbanned from Google, right now with just Yahoo & MSN its kinda slow. I plan to add a forum soon though and I have some good ideas for promoting that.

think amazon AWS content from 2004. Its a long standing ban.

yes, but its penalized big time. I get not one single Google referrer.

Not by the normal definition, the site is years old.

Ok, so if you did get just a few Google referrers per month, would you say that a site is not penalized, just not optimized enough (I have a site that does really well in MSN & Yahoo and very poorly in Google)?

Also, how will you go about getting your site un-penalized?
