I am getting extremely frustrated with the fact my website, http://www.PhotoshopGuides.com, has not yet been indexed by Google. It has been online for four months now. With my old layout, I guessed that the way I set up my pages, the same content was being displayed across different pages. So I released a new, tableless layout with fixes to the problems I thought was preventing it from being indexed. It has been about two weeks since the release of the layout and I still have not been indexed. I have incoming links in many places, Google has spidered the page for AdSense, and I am even promoting the site by advertising with AdWords. What am I doing wrong?

I have tried a Google SiteMap and have tried submitting a reinclusion request. I dont know what else there is to do...

Where are some of the links you have? Can you post links to the pages that they are on please?

The link on here should get you indexed fairly quickly.

I hear your frustration. Google has not been making any sense for months now.

I have a site which i should have seen a steady increase in pages indexed over a period of months, instead it went down, then I tried a different tack (after realising a major part of my site wasn't being indexed) which should have meant about 3000 pages should have been indexed, instead it went down. Now I see I have 9500 pages indexed (I don't think I even have that many pages). No doubt it will be down to about 500 when I check again in a few days.

It's no use trying to figure Google at the moment, it still brings in the most hits and it's going up all the time so it's not all bad.

I'm checking your link popularity:
http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/

523 for MSN and 625 for Yahoo -- but none on Google.

Its possible that your domain was banned ( http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum25/2664.htm )

I'm checking Archive.org and it was parked with Sedo last year, so it probably was removed from google's index back then.

I would try using Google Sitemaps to get it re-included: http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login?sourceid=gsm&subid=us-et-about2

If your still having problems in a few weeks send them an e-mail about the domain.

Yes, the domain was listed on Sedo before I registered it. The previous owner had let it expire after not being able to sell it. I am using Google Sitemaps as of the last week or two and havent seen the site indexed. I have also submitted a reinclusion request, as I stated in my first post. I will probably email them again in another week or two if I still dont see a change.

Has googlebot been in to read your site since you've had it? Has it seen the sitemap?

Googlebot does visit my site regularly and it has seen the sitemap. From the links posted above, I have determined my site has been banned from Google and will be working towards getting that ban lifted.
