Here's my problem.

On my up n coming scuba directory site, I have a category structure like so:

home > scuba centers > country (for example)

On the scuba centers page, I have a form with a drop down box so users can refine their search by selecting a country. Thus getting taken to: scuba centers > australia for example. Now I know the SE's wont be able to follow the links through the form, but I want all the sub categories indexed.

As you can imagine having a 250 odd text links on the scuba centers page looks ridiclious. Is there any other way I could do it to make sure that all my sub categories get indexed without linking to each and every country from the scuba centers page?

Cheers :D

As long as you can browse from your homepage to the pages in question your site will get indexed eventually.

To speed things up, try creating a "Google SiteMap"

Do you use Google sitemaps? Have you noticed any benefit?

You need to make a sitemap (not to be confused with Google sitemaps.) This is a page which has links to every page on your site. The sitemap page should be linked to on every single page of your site. Because you have 250 pages you may actually want to make 2 or 3 sitemaps; I may be wrong, but from what I understand Google will only crawl the first 100 links on a site.

Nope, there is no 100 link limit.

Now I remember where I read the 100 number. Its in the Google Webmaster Guidelines at the bottom of this page:

Yup, just a guideline for beginners so they do not dilute their PR too much.

I ended up makin a sitemap and adding the link to the bottom of my nav bar.

I'll look into a google sitemap once its launched i think.
