G'day.
Wasn't sure if this was the right place to put this so sorry if it's in the wrong place. There is a certain adsense text ad that keeps appearing in the bands section of my site. The ad is - 'Punk Sex'. My site is for a school assigment and I have to present it in front of my teachers, parents and other panel members. I would rather not present 'Punk Sex'. I could, of course, remove the whole linkbox for that day but I would prefer to find a way to filter out ads like that. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks.

If you go into your adsense control panel go to the "Competitive Ad Filter" section and block the ad. This way you can keep your ad block but it won't allow any more "Punk Sex" ads to show up on your site.

Wow, I'm surprised that Google would allow dirty little words like that.

Try providing feedback about it by clicking the "Ads by Goo(ooooooo)gle" link.

I have provide feedback. Doubt they'll get back to me but it's with a try I suppose. If not, I will just remove the ad on the day.

Wow, I didn't give the google team enough credit. They mailed me back within 6 hours and had fixed it :).

Wow, I guess they choose to look at one in every 1000, or something?

Not at all. I'm always amazed at the level of care I get when I email them. Knowing how many emails I get from users, even as a small publisher, it's amazing Google are able to respond at all. Normally I get one or two canned responses to begin with - which is fair enough. Reply to that and you then get a real person.

I recently had to block an entire advertiser's domain through Adsense. It was a shame too, because that advertiser serves many different Adsense ads on my site, and they have always been acceptable. They recently started running one advertising "Sex arcade games" or something like that.

It would be nice if google let you block ads by keywords in the ad text as well as by advertiser domain.

Yes, blocking by keywords would be nice.
