Hi guys

I am looking to get myself a good, value for money, reliable reseller account.

I'm looking for your opinions on who's good, and who's not so good!

Who do you use? What are they like?

I use BlueWho (http://www.bluewho.com). Great customer service, and decent prices. I use Plan 1 giving a Gig of space and 15Gb bandwidth.

A mate of mine uses HostGator (http://www.hostgator.com/resellers.shtml) which have lower prices per Gb, and he seems pleased with them.

I use Lightning Servers ($24.99/month) and Dathorn ($13.50). I've not had any problems with either of them. Can't use .htaccess with Dathorn though. Apart from that, fine.

Made2Own.com seems pretty good.

I have not used them personally but will be in a couple of days for a mates dad's website.

I use Site5.com now and I like 'em a lot. They have great reviews over on webhostingtalk.com too. $20 a month.

Hostony is pretty good, the support don't usually take long to respond to you. They have a lot of reseller plans as well...

Thanks guys for your recommendations :)

I have pretty much narrowed it down to hostgator, bluewho or nexcess.

A question regarding static IP's. Should you have one on your reseller account? What are the pros and cons of having one? Bluewho gives you 5. But most other accounts only seem to offer them for a small extra monthly charge.

I would have a static IP if possible. PS, you may want to consider getting a VPS which give syou root access for your reseller needs. I know they have good ones over at webcs.com and they come with unlimited bandwidth as well.

Now tha tyou mention it IPs come standard on those. Hope that helps.
