dvd player?

Hi,

Both my laptop and desktop have DVD drives installed on them, but for some reason I don't have any software that works!

My dell system says that my computer is not a dell system and thus doesn't install on it (I have the winDVD cd).

Is there any free software out there that can get me up and running so I can view DVD's using realplayer or windowsmediaplayer? (with no adware/spyware ofcourse!).

I think DivX works, but you'll need ad-aware to remove the spyware it installs. I'm currnetly looking for a multiregion one as I often buy dvds from the USA or Canada because some are never released in region 2.
