it looks very much like another site, some literature site.

The logo at the top has transparency in the text & it shouldn't, which stands out because everything else looks good.

I made some changes based on the feedback received here and would like more input.

From a design standpoint it looks very good. How are you doing with search engines crawling it?

I agree that the site is layed out neatly, however maybe its just me but i think you have too much yellow?

Fairly well...I go to uptimebot regularly to check my progress and it is steadily rising. I am very weak on Google backlinks with only 58. This is because most of my one way backlinks are to real estate broker sites which don't get tremendous traffic so don't make sufficient page rank. Also, google may not consider them "relevant."

Never thought about the yellow issue.

How well is fairly well? If Google can crawl every single page for the 30,000 schools in your database you should do very well with SE traffic.

When I use uptimebot, Google has only 438 pages indexed. You would think after 4 years that they woud all be indexed by now. The reason they were not is because the way the site code was written the pages did not exist until someone called them up. This was done to save on storage space. Because of this, there were no pages to index.

When I bought the site I had the site map created that lists all the schools by state and city. This solved the problem I mentioned earlier and I assume that eventually all the schools will be crawled.

I went to Google direct and put in:

site:eschoolsearch.com esearchforit

and 36,700 results came up instead of 440. So I guess this means all my pages are indexed.
