What's Tribal Fusion Direct ?

About half of my ads on tribal fusion are going to TFD, I'm not complaining as the CPM is higher than fastclick or casale, but what is it?

Its a weird optimization system where ads are paid to you via performance. The idea is that an ad on a person's 20th pageview is worth less than an ad on their 1st pageview so the ad prices are adjusted accordingly. You can set a minimum CPM for this system though.

I've found their TFD rectangle ads are the best. Banners & Skys notsomuch.

Also another strange thing about tribal fusion is the eCPM means CPM, before they take their 50% cut...

The pricing floor is good, but I wish it was a little more arbitary than present.
