Did wamp come with any documentation?

Do you have any web development experience?

Do you know where your local web directory is? You need to put the files in there. Then goto http://localhost/appropriate_filename.php.

Im not sure, because I changed the location of mine. If that directory does exist, then it is that. Put your files in there, then type http://localhost/appropriate_filename.php into your browser.

After starting wamp, if it's not running already :)

I believe it installs Apache and MySQL as services which start automatically, so it should be running.

But only if you request that it's installed as a service, surely?

I have xamp, and I have to start it manually. Hmmm!

As I say, I think it does - it was a while since I installed it, but mine definitely always starts automatically.

I have tried xamp and FoxServ but didnt really like either, wamp is the best I have tried.
