I have more than 500 uniques per day looking for "playstation 3" I did not expect anyone to look for them until it became available for sale in the USA.
I put adsense (which shows PS2 and has low conversions) and RSS showing some PS3 information.
What I want to do is make money from all those eyeballs.
I read the article by chris beasley about joining an ad-network . Is this what I should be looking into to monitize a site like this. Any other advice ?

Do you have any stats on what countries this traffic is coming from?

Do you have any stats on what countries this traffic is coming from?
Stats show:
undefined 80 %
America 12 %
Europe 3 %
Asia 3 %
Most of the undefined is from Cable/DSL networks in the USA !
mchsi.com
grandenetworks.net
woh.res.rr.com
ca.charter.com
genericrev.cantv.net
sdhc.k12.fl.us
tx.comcast.net
il.comcast.net
douglasfast.net
I was expecting a whole lot from Europe but thats not the case
Asia
maxonline.com.sg
pldt.net

I'd try some of the free video game type offers at azoogleads.com . If you can integrate them into your site well enough to convert people you should be able to make some money.

Adsense should be good for now.
Once you can pre-order it then I'd look into adding an affiliate program.

Thank you Westech waiting to see if azoogleads.com will work for me.
Cutter, have Adsense running currently with extremely low CTR.

Try changing the colors, layout, and size, until you hit about 1.5%
Some suggestions:
Highly contrasting ad colors (otherwise 90% of your page viewers won't even notice them)
Try the traditional banner size if you haven't already, its worked best for me.
How is the ad relavancy? I currently have an Xbox 360 page up and it is displaying relavant ads, don't know if there is much for ps3 yet.

I would try to keep building up traffic, and offer an e-mail service:
"E-Mail Me When I can Order PS3"
Collect the usere's e-mail, and e-mail them the link to pre-order(or order) where you make $ on each order :)
