I have an idea for a downloadable product to sell from many of my tiny niche sites. There would be less than 10 files on each site, but each site will have its own unique collection of files. I browsed Hotscripts and Google, but would like to hear from someone who is actually using such a script. I don't mind paying as long as it is one I can use on multiple domains. I am confortable installing PHP/MySQL scripts, but not up to hacking the code itself.

The process would be to click on a buy now button, make the payment via PayPal, then download a single file.

Thanks,
Paul

I suggest using eLance, any php programmer should be able to easily make the script you want as paypal's IPN is easy to work with.

I`ve seen sites like this before and I suggest you e-mail the customer hte file (if it's small) because if you send them a link to download the file they could share that with other people. (Unless you make the file only available for a limited time, but this can cause other problems if they forget to download etc..)
