Page Titles - Article with category or just article?

I'm wondering what is the best way to setup page titles for my sites. Sometimes I see sites with just a simple title rank higher in search results than mine do with category names at the end of the name.

Right now I'm using: Apache Log Files Explained - Hosting Tutorials

Would I be better off having this just as?: Apache Log Files Explained

Since I want the relevant article to show up high because its on a specific topic. Feedback would be apprecaited guys!

You'll notice I do it the same way you currently do, I think that is best.

The important thing is to have the article name first, then the category. Search engines aren't going to penalize you for extra words in your title, the most that'd happen is that if it was too long the extra words simply would not count.
