Default Shipping car to Europe for Vacation? (and back)
Hi all,

Wife and I started contemplating shipping our car to Europe for a 3 week drive through Europe in the next few months.

Wondering if anyone here has done this and what kind of timeline and expenses I should prepare for?
Plan is to ship the car to Italy/France or Spain (whichever is quicker) in advance and plan to arrive in Italy/France or Spain before it arrives.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm a little confused about the point of sending a car to Europe to travel there. This will cost you a lot. I think it will be easier for you to rent a car on the spot. I think this is the most reasonable option. Of course, it's up to you. I am also planning to go to Europe on vacation this summer. I want to see some countries in Europe, but I plan to do it by train. I even bought tickets on the website dbfahrplanauskunft.net (https://www.dbfahrplanauskunft.net/de/). I have no desire to bother with a car on vacation at all, but only a desire to have a good rest and see the sights.
