Hi there,

Would someone be kind enough to tell me weather affiliate accounts are like a business? Like, would people under the age of 18 be legally allowed to be part of something like an affaliate program?

Cheers,
Mike:)

Always read the program agreement of the affiliate program before you sign up but I think most of the programs allow minors to sign up.

The law in England states that you can set up a business whatever age you are but they do not allow under 5's to be directors. So in other words, your fine Mike, as am I. Some affiliate programs require you to be 18 such a CJ.com and most of the adult ones.

Yeh I think your right after doing a bit of research.

It's because your not allowed to own property (eg, business premises) under a certain age. That's why I got puzzled:)

I hate the law on buying property. What if I wanted to buy a business warehouse at 16 - I can't, I've got to wait another 2 years. Same with renting!

Just get your parents to rent it, and pay them the rent.
