View Full Version : How was your January?

Although January was not as good as preceding months, Adsense earned more than even, and one of my newest AWS sites is making orders every day now (providing a nice framework on which I'll build, and re-build, new and existing AWS sites around).

Also, my 2005 Challenge has been quiet the past couple of weeks, mainly because I made my month's quota of sites within the first couple of weeks :D February has a few cool sites lined up for it, though :)

How was January for you?

Extremely good for adsense, three times my average, but a bit of that came from cooking site.

No one seems to be buying plasmas just after Christmas, so first order was yesterday :( Though have sold about 10 cheap things on AWS for a bit of earnings.

Started a few new affiliate programs, and got lead on a mortage which was nice. Also have 8 properties on House Shop now, over £1.5m worth (big numbers sound nice, since I have no income generators on House Shop :) )

My January was pretty good. Azoogleads tanked on me, but I'm doing very well with Adsense and the CPM companies.

Great month really.

I sold my msn emotions site, and that added on to my adsense earnings (which were brilliant compared to normal) made me make about $2k :)

Adsense up
One affiliate program has started converting, but at the expense of another. Overall up by about 10% from previous months.

Rest down.

From what I've heard January is always bad...

Adsense was down for me, but I had a killer Dec/Nov in Adsense.

Wasn't a great month for me, but still better than previous months.

Overall earnings up about 30% ;) I'm launching a new business (half web-based, half offline) Earnings growth over the next few months should be huge!

Its tought starting out knowing you could be making more at a minimum wage job, but once things start to grow.. you easily make up for the lost income.

AdSense keeps going up.
Affiliate sales didn't preform as well, which is my fault and could have.
Website subscriptions keeps going up.

An average month for me. Next few should be much better.

Best month for me, except for Amazon, but I do so little activity with them that I don't even really count them usually.

Still shooting for another check; last one was what, 5 years ago? 20 dollars baby!

amazon is down in january, but then Dec was so high it would be hard to compare fairly. Fastclick, Casale are about the same, and adsense is up a small bit.

I spoke too soon - some last minutes sales gave me my best month since September. I finally sold a jogging stroller ($13 commission)! :)

Not a very good month as I plan to start my own business… and as a result many problems have arisen.

I broke the $100 dollar mark on adsense this month......YAY!!! :) My first ever google check should be on its way soon!

Didn't do much work though, made the classic mistake of too many small unpromoted sites! grrr

Will do more work this month......redundancy is creeping up fast! :)

January was a terrible month for me. Feb doesn't look any better either. Probably the worst month CPM wise that I've ever experienced. :( Quite shocking really after an absolutely killer Oct, Nov & Dec.

Shame because I was expecting it to get even better after Christmas. I thought everyone would be into losing some weight and advertisers would really be going for it. Hasn't worked like that even in the slightest though. In fact, it seems to be the opposite. I'm earning literally about 10 times less than I was before new year.

To rub things in even more Google has slapped down all my rankings. Hopefully I'll get back some of them soon.

The only way is up from where I am right now! >:-/ I'm working on a BIG site plan that I can dedicate a lot of my time too.

Glad everyone else is doing ok though! :) lol

I can see that you are sincerely flattered. I like your style.

Now spill ya guts on that "Big site" so I can get started. ;)
